Aquarius

This surreal painting was inspired by the zodiac sign Aquarius. I depicted a skeleton as the water carrier and later in the process, I used its pelt to form a swan on a lake. The Apple Tree

This painting is one of six, based on childhood memories. It reflects a mischievous memory of borrowing apples from gardens but never giving them back, but presented in a surreal way. Absent

I formed the idea for this painting when I found a child's primary school chair one morning outside an apartment I was living in. I based the whole of the painting around the chair, The chair had a sense of mystery. Who has been sitting on the chair and how many? The painting tells a story of mystery.
